Warning: beware if you are stopped by plain clothes policement. My son and his friends were stopped by 2 such policemen, the long and short of it is they were arrested and are now due to stand trial for resisting arrest, attacking the police and disobedience. They haven't got any witnesses, so the lawyers recommend that they accept the charges. Why would the police bother with wrongful arrest and charges? Guess what, part of the punishment is financial compensation to the 'injured' police, although the boys deny touching them at all. Having said that, also beware of 'fake' plain clothes police, who will mug you! Either way you can't win! Have a great time but be wary!! |
