?
why are there so many forigen speaking solicitors in England...more the piont!
If you are having difficultys go to a Spanish one along with a registered translator. Costs a bit more, but the only reason people go to them is to try make money

Maybe because the official languages in Barcelona are "catalĂ " and "castellano".

SunnyDays
Some people just haven't a clue on here...so why answer?

The real reason is that they don;t have the number of brits to look after in Barcelona as they do further down the coast on the Costa Blanca and the Costa Del Sol. Most brits move further south, and with that, comes english speaking lawyers notaries and estate agents, all wanting your money!

Unlike Other countries in Europe Spain has it's own laws as well as European Laws, one of the top rules in Spain is that if you are not Spanish and an accident happens it's your fault (even when it is not) therefore if the Lawyers don't speak your language then you can't challenge the system in court and therefore they keep you as the "suspect"
