There are not so many Chinese in Spain, it is just that they are more visible in that they work in importing from China, retail, and the restaurant trade.
Unlike in England, most do not speak Hong Kong English, They also take over Spanish cafés and run them as Spanish style businesses, not Chinese restaurants.
They are popular immigrants because they learn Spanish, work hard, import cheap, quality clothing, and have saved many local bars from closure. |

I never noticed that! I lived there! Lots of illegal Africans...tons of people from a lot of places, but from China? not any large number to my knowledge. |
