ye a friend of mine has a house there and i went to visit her lately i came back with a great tan but just remember your sun cream and don't be afraid of high factors they wont stop you tanning just make it safer and wil minimize the risk of ending up looking like a lobster and remember that around lunch time you should stay in the shade or just sit under a parasol and have some lunch.

Tenerife = near the equator. Assuming no rain, then yeah, you can get a tan.
Don't know how you would "catch" one...it isn't something physical or a disease or anything, but, yeah. Assuming you get out there during the day, you ought to be able to get some color.
And be careful. That close to the equator, you DEFINITELY want some sunscreen! at least 15! Probably more like 30, and depending on your skin type and how long you expect to be out, more. And reapply! (don't want to risk cancer!) |

it depends on how long your intending to stay and how much sun you will catch but as a holiday destiantion tenerife shouldnt dissapoint in terms of you getting a good tan. dont forget to bring these so you do make the most out of your holliday. |

Are you pasty white and nasty looking, or moderately tanned? I think you are pasty. I suggest going to a tanning bed that's open all night, then tan outside during the day. That should work :) |

Yes, definitely!!! I lived in Spain: Lived there for seven years, but been to Tenerife loads of times :D And you will so catch a tan!!!

yes if you are going to the south of the island always sunnier than the north the temp. only varies 10degrees through out the year. very nive island |
