If you have very little Spanish then you need to base yourselves in an English resort so that you can work in the British bars/restaurants etc. You will still be up against the Spanish but you have the advantage that some English bars will only hire the English.
As for where to go the Canaries, Balearic's, Benidorm, Malaga all have big English communities. You will only get surf in the Canaries though as the Med doesn't have a tide as such so we don't really get waves.
Have a look at some expat forums to get a feel for an area (see what jobs are offered etc) Just remember that this year jobs are going to be even more fought over so make sure you have enough money to tide you over if job pickings are lean. |

"easy to get a job". That would be....noplace in the world right now!
Truly, Spain is in a massive recession right now...3 million people out of work and looking. You might not be able to find work.
What is your nationality? British? At least you don't have to worry about work legality. American? You need a work visa.
Your best bet might be to start now, trying to find a reputable agency to place you. I don't know how much luck you'll have, but try that...just search "work in Spain", and you'll find a bunch. You'll want to check them out, to be sure you're not hooking up with an illegal outfit, but there are reputable ones online, too.
Good luck! Remember, a lot of those people work so many hours it's not really a "Working vacation". |

Search in google, summer jobs in spain. See what comes up, that would be your best bet. Work in Spain at this time is very difficult to get, although in the resorts the opportunities do increase during the season.
Thousands of Brits who came to live here are going back home because of the shortage of work. I think a lot of bars, especially the English bars will give work to locally known kids to support their local communities during these hard times.
But you never know, give it a try. I live 60 miles north of Benidorm and there is a large but shrinking Brit community here. Good luck |
