Isabel, the Spanish people are some of the best people in the world. They are warm and welcoming, incredibly intense in everything they do, whether it's work or a Feria and they are very tolerant when foreigners try to speak their language. I have lived in Spain for more than 20 years and I would never live anywhere else.

I lived in Spain many years ago, and went back for a visit this past summer. I can't say how incredibly wonderful and warm the people of Spain are (occasional exceptions, of course, but by and large), and of course, in my travels, I spent some time in Scotland as well, also incredibly great folks! And don't discount the Irish (when they're not fighting amongst themselves) also a really warm place, despite chilly climate.

Oh, and Portugal, too. I actually, met lots of nice people all over, but those are some of my favorite places for personality.

Well said Derek!! I have lived in Spain for 19 years, and came from Scotland with my family, and the people of Spain and Scotland are absolutely wonderful!

I love them so much I married one. She is from the Canary Islands where you will find the most hospitable and friendly people. Not to mention the most beautiful women in the world.

Yes we like the people of Spain, but I think they differ quite a lot from region to region. For example when I went to Madrid I was amazed by how westernized the people and way of life was. It reminded me the people of London.

We used to live in Puerto de Mazarron Murcia and loved it,,the people were very friendly and we fely more at home there than almost anywhere I have lived,,,But it now has far too many Brits moving to the area and spoiling it,,,we intergrated with the Spanish and loved it,,much better than the UK in my opinion,,,,
