Your favorite part of Spain?

A few years ago I visited Spain and really enjoyed it. There were certain things I loved, and a few bad experiences, but all in all, a great trip. I would like to go again, but I'm not sure where to go. What's you favorite city/region in Spain?

Also, what did you really enjoy doing while you were there-- either everyday stuff or a special event?

You are so EASY!

Seville, AndalucĂa, with Granada as a close second.

I lived there, so...just going to the coffee shop was one thing I loved doing. Best one is on the North end of C/Sierpes...La Campana. Really good sweets!

Semana Santa and Feria, of course, the best events.

And for Granada: the Alhambra. Nothing like it in the WORLD!

My favourite part would have to be Andalucia, in the south of Spain. In my opinion, this is 'real' Spain, with glorious beaches, sunny weather, tapas, flamenco, etc... I lived in Malaga for a year, and I was tanned within months lol. We also went to places like Fuengirola, Benalmadena and Torremolinos, etc and there are large English communities there, so you also feel at home!

personally, i love Salou. we have children so it is perfect for our needs. we have portaventura and a choice of 2 water parks within very easy reach and the beach is fantastico!! its all so cheap there too. we have been going there for at least the last 7 years and still haven't tired of it, we even stayed for 3 weeks all-in one year!
you have to go along way to better Salou for families i think.
have a great trip whatever you decide.
