A question for people from Switzerland?

Is there anyone from Switzerland who has come to the U.S.? If so, could you please name a few things you found in the states that were different than in your home country (e.g. food, customs, transportation, anything else you can think of)?

I like the U.S. for groceries better because there's more of a selection and the prices are much lower! I also like the fact that there are people who bag the stuff, because in Switzerland you have to bag your own, and you have to be fast or otherwise you hold up the people waiting before you. There are a lot of chain restaurants in the U.S. too, Switzerland doesn't have these really. Plus the service in most restaurants here is somewhat less personal and slow, in Switzerland the waiter comes right over in a matter of seconds usually.

I have to say transportation is much better in Switzerland! I really don't like how the car is the main form of transportation in the U.S. Granted the gas is much cheaper, but I love being able to just hop on the train and get to anywhere easily.

I was really amazed in food stores that they pack up your groceries and will also bring it to your car. Also waiting in line when visiting Restaurants is unusual for Switzerland.

in switzerland everyone kisses three times on the cheek. you know, right left right. and they do it if you know them in the slightest. even colleagues at work if you've been away on vacation or travelling for business for a week or so.
