Bacharach (Rhein) to Lake Lucerne on the train? |
What route would be the best to take? I have found a couple of options:
Bacharach - Mainz - Manneheim - Olton - Lucerene
Bacharach - Mainz - Bazel - Lucerene.
or is there a better option? |

Both DB Bahn's European timetable and Swiss Rail (SBB) give the exactly the same information as your post, so there is no direct route. Bacharach to Luzern via Mainz and Basel is probably best to take as there are only two changes. |

The best connection is Bacharach - Mainz - Basel - Lucerne, because it takes 5:39 as apposed to other connections that take more than an hour longer. You'll also only have to change twice. |
