Your situation is quite difficult. Your baby is really so delicate age that she doubtlessly needs parent's proper attention and care. But as I have comprehended your question, you would like to travel to Basel and are going to take the baby with you. So, that's a perfect mother's decision. I thank you for that decision you must have already taken.
Now you have to make your mind about bringing your mother there. Do everything to make it done. Go to the embassy, or any authorised person to beg it from them. If you are confident in your request, then not only ice but even stone can melt. You have a good reason to ask for. So, try and go on trying asking for whatever might be better for your child.
But the answer is, there may be some problem but every arrangements depend on how you convince people while going for them. You should get it.
P.S -- I waited for the approval for about six months.
