Unless you're are Finnish and used to icecold water I would not take a risk... The Boats are not running in Winter. But on a sunny day the scenery around the lake with snowcovered mountains in the back is just great!

you can.....but the water is very cold and I wouldn't recommend it. It can snow here in febuary, so you can imagine how cold the lake is.
