Can you tell me all about Switzerland? ?

I'm doing an exchange program for law school in Geneva this summer and I want to know all about Switzerland! Most notable, do most people speak English there? Will I be in trouble if I don't speak French or German? Thanks!

(In case you are curious, I'm from Canada)

I live in Switzerland, so I can tell you a lot. Most everybody, especially the younger generation, speaks english very well, so the language shouldn't be a problem. Maybe you've heard that life is expensive in Switzerland, especially stuff like clothes, so don't plan on buying everything here (unless you don't mind spending a lot of money). Switzerland has a great train and public transportation system, so you don't need a car. Get a 1/2 abonnement, that gives you 1/2 price on everything and makes it a lot cheaper. The trains, buses, trams all run very frequently too and are totally safe.
Geneva is a beautiful city on the lake you can swim in if it's warm enough, though Switzerland, like Canada, has cold winter, and even spring and summer can be very cold, so bring lots of warm and waterproof clothing.
