no you need a swiss visa or else they won't aloow to enter the country, the swiss keep very good track of the immigrants

In theory, you can't. However, many times people are allowed to enter the country if they have a valid UK or Schengen Visa; but that's a chance you're taking.
If you do decide to take the risk tho, it's better to fly to germany or some other schengen state (which is usually be no problem on a UK student visa) and then try to enter Switzerland through the border (inspections are less frequent and rigorous than they are at airports).
