Do girls in Switzerland also carry purses around like here in the US?

I know, it's kinda a weird question but I though in Switzerland they don't really do it...I should know this.I'm Swiss myself but live here in the US and even though I go to switzerland often I don't pay attention to girls purses..lol...purses like this http://www.pursepage.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/04/coach-ergo-patent-handbag-pink.jpg or this http://indiana.typepad.com/photos/uncategorized/2007/05/30/vera_bradley.jpg ...just those type things? Like teen girls?

Perhaps the status of the purse is not as important, but you also have the "trendy" people who want to carry around only coach or gucci, or whatever name happens to be hot at that moment.

I think you also find more people willing to put whatever they need in a backpack if it is more convenient for what they are going to do. But you need a nice bag for going out!
