Switzerland does not have a national tree, flower, animal, or even a national motto. Part of the reason for this is that Switzerland is a country formed of originally distinct linguistic groups, and it can be difficult to find symbols of importance to all such groups.

No, Switzerland does not have a National Tree.
There are two plants which could be considered as unofficial national "flowers":
- the Gentian, which is found on every Swiss franc coin
- the Edelweiss, a flower traditionally associated with the Alps and used (among others) as the logo by the Swiss National Tourist Office
