Ive been on Rigi a few times, never made it up pilatus. I enjoy riding the RigiBahn, its a good 20 minutes to the top. It is a great ride, you see some very good scenery, even though it feels like you are going straight up. Once you get to the top, it may be a bit windy, but as you climb to the top to the observation points, the wind always seems to die down. it can be a bit chilly, even in the summer, so bring a jacket, but you may not even need it, it just pays to be prepared, especially if it is a cloudy day. Enjoy your trip, I miss switzerland and try to get back every couple of years, you will have a great time. |

it's normally sunny up there, so bring your sunscreen...
but it does not mean that it will be warm, so bring a jacket as well. if you go hiking you won't feel cold but it might be windy. it's lovely to walk in the swiss mountains in the summer, you will like it! |
