You can take an SBahn (strassenbahn) from the Airport train station directly to the Oerlikon train station. Both the S2 or the S16 go direct. You can use the train planner below to give you the train times, just put ' zurich airport' in the first box and the entire street address in the second. Below that put your desired departure or arrival times:

In front of the station is Hofwiesenstrasse, go left. Your first street is Schaffhauserstrasse. Turn right and walk about 4 streets and you are there. Click the link below to find a map of the area. Your destination has a circle around it:
Once you are on the train, the train journey time is 15 minutes. Then it depends on how quickly you find your way in Oerlikon. If you speak German or can point to your map, about 5 minutes. If you dont it could talk all day.

Great answer from G. Sol! I would just add, make sure you are in the "front" of the train station (beyond Gleis (track) 1). You will see trams, A Burger King and a bit to your right a McDonald's. The Burger King's side entrance is on Schaffhauserstrasse.
(And I think SBahn is Stadtbahn, at least in Germany Strassenbahn is a tram.)
