cheapest are those from “formule 1” www.hotelformule1.com
there are two just behind the border, in france, close to the airport. I stayed there once. only about 45.-sfr/night. Have a look – st. julien en genevois, the other one in ferney voltaire. The standard is ok, not luxorious, tiny, but absolutely clean.
