Hi there,
You would need to take a TGV from Paris Gare de l'Est which you could take all the way to Basel SBB. You would then change to connect with an IR (InterRegio) train to Luzern.
I have made you a sample itinerary based on my above suggestion:
Dep. 12:24 — Paris Gare de l'Est on TGV 9215 to Basel SBB
Arr. 15:51 — Basel SBB, platform 8
Dep. 16:03 — Basel SBB, platform 7, on IR to Luzern
Arr. 17:05 in Luzern
The cost for a one-way ticket in Second Class amounts to 172.00 CHF (or 104.84 €). The cost for a one-way ticket in First Class amounts to 276.40 CHF (or 168.48 €).

Train is probably the best way to go. The French SNCF website shows a price range of between 95 and 109 euros for a 2nd class ticket. The cheaper price is for early purchase online. Trains depart Paris Gare l'Est, with a change at Basel, and trip time is around 5 1/2 to 6 1/2 hours depending on the train.
