Careful - if you need a visa or not to visit Switzerland depends on what country your passport is from -- it does not matter to the Swiss if you have a Green Card!!
To be sure you get the right information, and don't get a nasty suprise at the border, check for the Swiss consulate nearest to where you live. Call them and be sure to tell them what country issued your passport, they will tell you if you need a visa or not!
