How expensive is Zurich?

eg how much is a pint?
how much is a bottle of coke?
how much is it for a good meal in a nice restaurant?
how much would it be to ski for a day?

5 decis of draft beer "ein grosses Stange": about 5 CHF
A glass of coke in a pub is usually 4 CHF, less in a store, maybe 3.50 in a restaurant.
Good meal in a nice restaurant: 25-40 CHF for a main course, 8 for salad, 8 for dessert, 4 for a coffee. Wine can be anywhere from 20-180. No need to tip, if you do, a couple franks'll do.
Skiing: around 50 CHF, plus 30 for the train fare to the ski place (half-tax), do check out the Snow-and-Rail offers though. www.rail.ch Or I guess you could drive, probably only need a half-day ticket then since it'll have taken you 3 hours to find a parking spot.

I really think you would be better off checking out the website listed for all the info you are looking for - as for expensive it really depends what you do and which parts you go to - there are dufferent options open to you if you check them out!

Good Luck

Hi there, was there when engladn played leichtenstein in 03. a pint is around £4, a bottle of coke say 500ml is around £150, A nice meal at a decent standard and not on the cheap is around £60 each, and Ski-iong well... you'll ahve to contact around but would expect for the day to cost in the region of £200.
