There is neither an expedited fee for a Schengen visa application nor is there such fee for a national Swiss visa issued for other purposes than tourist or business travel. Don't pay dubious fees some fraudulent travel advisers try to charge for a service that does not exist.
The general visa application fee for a Schengen visa is €60 worldwide. The local fee will be determined by the Swiss Embassies based on the exchange rate; at present the visa fee is Rs. 4,200/- and the service fee charged by VFS-global Rs. 501/-.
Whereas tourist visa are processed in about 6 - 8 working days the application for a student visa for example will be decided by the Swiss immigration authorities in Switzerland and may take a processing time of 6 to 8 weeks.
