Go to site http://www.cff.ch (it's the train schedule) and choose the English language. Here you have all the hours of departure and arrival.
Duration is about 1 hour and 45 minutes if you do not have to change trains and 2 hours if you have to change. |

Definately with a car on the Scenic Route !
My scenic route.
I have been that route many times. I did the train,I drove my car. I would go to the road and hitch hike and hope some good looking Swiss woman would pick me up and stop at her chalet first, on the way to Berne. if that worked out I would stay with her and go some otherday. if it didnt work out . I would goo back to the train station in Genevea, because it isnt a far walk from a place to hitch hike. then take the train. There maybe I meet a nice woman and go with her to her stop and stay with her at her Castle. if that didnt work oout, back to the train station. |

If you like advanture and experience that you can still talk about 10 years from now go hitchhiking.
Train is nice and convinient but rather boring. With road you will see more of the country. |

Fastest is the train, nicest is take a boat to Montreux or so and then take a train.

Hello there!
I went to Berne by car and it took 2 hours on the highway. Going there by car gives you more liberty of moving in Berne and you can go back when ever you want. |
