What's a coincidence that we are also planning to visit Switzerland during May 2007. Our plans are as follows if that helps:
Day 1 - Bregenz (Austria) - Lake Constance and hill.
Day 2 - Take ship on Lake Constance and reach Konstanz. Goto Schaffhausen
Day 3 - Rhine Falls
Day 3 - Reach Luzern
Day 4 - Mt. Titlis and Luzern Transport Musuem
Day 5 - Pilatus
Day 5 - Reach Interlaken by Golden Pass line
Day 6 - Jungfraujoch
Day 7 - Interlaken-Spiez-Brig
Day 7 - Glacier Express to St Moritz
Day 8 - Bernina Express to Tirano
Then we are going to Italy
Have a detailed plan too but do not know whether you will be interested

More description:

(NORTH)

ZURICH is carried out extensively to be the intellectual and artistic center of the country, incredible architecture, with many museums and galleries. The city museum of fine arts contains one of the most extensive collections of Europe from the religious iconography of the 15th century to the modern works of art of Dali, Hockney, Cezanne, Monet, Gaugin and Picasso. The visitors can spend days to explore streets of Zurich, through their museums, exploring their flow-markets or walking out with free gifts of their chocolate factories. The promenade throughout the lakeside. Zurich has an animated population, multi-ethnic to compete any other important European city.
Suggested Itineraries:
- The Beyer Museum is devoted to time pieces of all kinds, from shadow sticks to striated medieval candles to Renaissance table clocks to watches that check their own accuracy via a wireless connection with an atomic clock. The exhibition is arranged chronologically and has a technical as well as an aesthetic emphasis.
- Zurich's Fluntern Cemetery is where James and Nora Joyce are buried; the grave has a statue of the author. The cemetery also houses the graves of Elias Cannetti, who won the 1981 Nobel Prize for Literature, and Johanna Spyri, the author of Heidi.

GENEVA and LAKE GENEVA
is the main city for the international community, and is homemade to the hundreds of organizations of the world. It is a city of the world, a city characterized by his cosmopolitan population. The city is center point of some fine representative Romanesque architecture. The cathedral St. Pierre Genève is a fine example. There is also an original flower clock in the English Garden. The city is located in the laps of the nature. To give a stroll within the limits of city, throughout the lake borders with its famous water jet. Geneva lakeside gives a romantic atmosphere, and the city is exciting, a very vibrant & multicultural night life. Geneva is the second city but the biggest of Switzerland & surely most international. The city is tightened to museums, has excellent cultural events, a lot of good restaurants. A well known festival of Geneva is l'escalade, carried out on December 11th, when the enormous amounts of chocolate and marsipan are consumed.

ST. MORITZ
enjoys more sun than any other places in Switzerland, the pleasant climate and its wonderful cosmopolitan atmosphere. The St. Moritz is better to visit during summer because it is more colorful. Its combination of a relaxing atmosphere, great purchases, sports and cultural activities make St. Moritz as a must visit of tourist location. In addition it offers traditional events, the races and the classic festival. Sports: skiing, snowboarding. St. Moritz carries out numerous attractions through the winter of any other place in the world.

LAUSANNE

LUCERNE
Lucerne is a very popular tourist destination with their spectacular mountains, beautiful lakes, green forests of pineapple and meadows. The very small villages that surround the Vierwaldstättersee lake are maintained by regular ferry that they connect with several railroads and cablecars of the mountain around the region. The first rotating gondola in the world that climbs Titlis mountain. The highest observation-point of central Switzerland is located to the south of Luzern, in the small city of Engelberg. Other mountains around the region are the Sonnenberg, the Gütsch, the Pilatus. Lucerne is overlapped by a scenic lake, surrounded by mountains. It's famous for its Kapellbrücke wooden bridge in the old city, is the most powerful symbol of Lucerne. The bridge is famous by the triangular panels, which has painted roof on its ceiling, created by Heinrich Wágmann in 1614 and to represent important events of Swiss history and mythology. Altstadt, medieval city of old Lucerne still remains intact. The important buildings include the Hofkirche, the old city corridor (1602-1606) and the famous Löwendenkmal, a monument to mascot the city. Lucerne contains also the museum of Richard Wagner and the Swiss museum of transport. An international blues festival is carried out here annually. I love Pedal boat in Lucerne. Don't come during carnaval, around Jan - March, It's personally a disaster for my taste. Most tourists feel annoyed somehow. Shopping: Casagrande (biggest Souvenir shop in Lucerne, sells Swiss Military, Swiss Army watches & knives), Bucherer & Gübelin sell expensive brand name watches & jewelry. Summer is the best time to visit.

JUNGFRAUJOCH - TOP OF EUROPE

ZERMATT lies to the southwest of Switzerland, is a unique place to visit because it is a car-free resorts. It offers wonderful views. In summer and autumns are good to visit Zermatt when tourists can enjoy outdoor activities, such as: the mountain biking, skiing and walking trips. The mountains and the valleys surround Zermatt consist more than 1000 diverse floral species. It's a must to see its "ice corridor"... a natural glacier palace underneath a station in Klein Matterhorn. In winter, you can enjoy skiing or snowboarding, sledding or to go on trip. Well there are plenty of seightseeing to do, but the best is to rent a pedal boat at the lake and enjoy the sunshine, i love zurich for shopping, Lucern is a beautiful city, quite romantic and it has famous Pilatus mountain that u can take a cable car. Since the nature is amazing i would reckon that u take a boat or hop onto ship from anotyher city to other, geneva is more international and its small, besides the fountain i didnt find anything to see, plus remember to learn some phrases since they will really appreciate that u r trying to speak german french or italian!
