It's no problem to visit Swiss untill your permit expires cause both party in Schengen. |

You can stay in Switzerland for up to three months without having to leave without a Visa. You wont be able to work or legally rent anything. But you can visist. |

You DONT need a visa. I am travelling to swiss and i am an indian citizen with work permit. I have did a lot of research and found that you dont need a visa to vist Swiss if you have a UK visa. For that reason, it does not matter which nationality you are from, if you have a valid UK visa during the tenure you travel, you can show that in swiss airport, in Immigration check. They dont even stamp the uk visa;s. But if you want the stamping as remembrance for your swiss visit, ask them to stamp it while they verify it..Make sure you travel before 17th july. Schengan visa is required only for visiting schengan countries like France etc.
While visiting swiss , make sure you dont take France route. Otherwise you might need a schengan visa. If you take 'EuroStar' it travels via France, so need a France visa. The best thing to do, is to take a flight from gatwick ,stansted or heathrow directly to Zurich,geneva or berne.
If you are looking for cheap flights you could check up,
easyjet.com or ryanair .com..but i guess you have to choose easyjet as ryanair does not have frequent services to swiss..

If you have a UK work permit & you are an Indian citizen then you definately need a swiss visa which you can get at the Swiss embassy in UK.You can call up the Swiss Embassy in the UK & get more details or log on to their web site & send them a mail with your questions. |
