I am planning to visit my sister in Switzerland with a residence permit.She has agreed to sponsor my visit.?

Is there any possibility that she can get a visitor's visa for me from Switzerland? or whether I need to apply from here with the Swiss consulate in India only?
We both hold an Indian passport.
Also kindly clarify whether staying lesser number of days(visitor's visa entitles for a maximum stay of 90 days) brighten the prospects of getting a visitor's visa?

u will need to apply for a visa to Switzerland from India itself. u can contact the embassy for the details, u will need to carry your sister's sponsorship letter with u.

No she will not be able to acquire a visa from inside Switzerland as Switzerland doesn't give visas out for visas out from within Switzerland.
It is best that you apply at your nearest consulate or embassy. See the below link for all Embassy and Consulate addresses:
