Paul
If its a british passport, probably not, as you normally need 6 months left on it to travel, but i could be wrong, if the Swiss Embassay say yes, ask them to put it in WRITING so you have proof, as EasyJet like to be awkward sometimes!

your passport expires at the end of march unless otherwise noted. So you will be fine. even if it expired on the first of March - your return in the 22nd of Feb again you would be fine.

If worried you can prolly get an Expedited renewal but thats about 150$ and you woul dneed to be near a passport center.
