The weather will be different than what you're used to in Singapore, but in September it usually stays warm. The weather can be capricious in September so rain and wind should be planned for, although they may not occur.
Of course that depends where you go. Switzerland's altitude ranges from ~200m to ~4600m above sea level, so the weather and temperature will vary depending where you go! If you stick to the plains of the Swiss plateau (between the Jura and the Alps), then the information above is what you can rely on. If you're going into the mountains, expect colder weather in the evenings, so just pack something warm to put on if you get chilly.
People often have that misconception that Switzerland is a cold, icy country, but it really isn't! :)
