Hot... do not be deceived... Switzerland can be a very warm place. I lived in ZĂĽrich for the last 3 years and was blown away by the heat I experienced in Geneva, Luzern and St Moritz... and I have even lived in Australia for three years, so I know my heat.
As with anywhere in the world, Switzerland weather will vary. Be prepared for anything, but go comfortably with a pack with lots of summery clothers. |

It can vary, so be prepared for anything -- even snow if you plan on going into the mountains; I remember throwing a snowball in June while in the Alps when I was 12.
