Is it true that you can only get a green swiss army knife in switzerland?
i am going to switzerland this summer, and i have heard that green swiss army knives are not available to buy in any country other than switzerland. i was just wondering if this is true or not. i couldnt find any information on it on the internet!
do you mean the camouflage style? to my knowledge (after inquiring at various shops in Switzerland), there is no special edition knife that is only available in that country; generally, they are available worldwide. one exception, though, is the commemorative souvenir types. for example, Zurich has its own Wenger knife in a special design (with the name of the city printed on it) that would not be available to buy in another country (or city, in fact). other cities in Switzerland also offer these kind of "limited" version knifes.
