No. The closest you will find in Switzerland is "Carrefour" which is a French department store similar in nature. BTW, the person above is totally wrong - Wal Mart can be found outside of North America - in Germany, for one. I used to shop at Wal Mart in Singen, Germany all the time when I lived in Switzerland.

Re the answer below: here is the link to Wal Mart Germany - this ad features sales for the first week of January 2007. Looks to me like they are still open somewhere in Germany :)

No, there is not.

Walmart did have stores in Germany, but they made huge losses there, so they sold that business to a Geman company called Metro.

No walmarts excist in switzerland, but there are some in germany (though I think theywere closing)
