It should be lovely at that time of year, with the subtle colours of autumn. It will be turning a little chilly, but not too much so and everything you want should be open and accessible. In fact, that is good weather for a good fondue or raclette (their culinary specialities). When I first went to live in Geneva, it was just that time of year, which is why it is all so clearly imprinted on my memory. Have a really good trip!
