 Why indians should visit switzerland?
...

Do girls in Switzerland also carry purses around like here in the US?
I know, it's kinda a weird question but I though in Switzerland they don't really do it...I should know this.I'm Swiss myself but live here in the US and even though I go to ...

 Road from Chur to Davos.?
Please tell me about the road from Chur to Davos. How hard, how long by car? Or maybe drive to Chur and take a train, bus? Need advice. Thanks....

Job opportunities for sugeons, dentists and doctors in Switzerland?

I recently discovered that I can perfectly meet the requirements to get into the University of Geneva if I work hard for the next two years, though I was wondering if I become a surgeon, dentist or doctor in Switzerland, would I be able to stay and find a good job?

Two issues came across:
1. Visa
2. Job opportunities. If I become a surgeon in Canada (where I live right now), I can earn TONS, but if I become a surgeon in Switzerland and come back I have to study for a minimum of 4 years to update my certificates, which is a ridiculous waste of time.

Any ideas, thoughts, facts appreciated.
Additional Details
I am going to know French fluently and some German (IF I actually begin studying it which depends on my situation, schedule, etc)...

Honestly, i wouldn't come to switzerland.
For a couple of reasons, first of all, it is very difficult to find a job here in switzerland. Every job requires masters as a minimal requirement. Not only that, but there is a law that requires them to favor swiss citizens for a job over a foreigner.

so unless you plan to specialize in something very specific, it would be pointless. I'll agree, the pay is pretty good here too.

Also, fluency in all three languages is a requirement. More so, depending on the area you'll be working in. For geneva, french is an absolute must. English is a nice bonus, but to be honest, no one cares. German would definately appeal to hospitals in times of hire. maybe some italian as well? that way you can move around?

Finally, a minor detail i dont think anyone is aware of, Switzerland's medical certificates and qualification standards differ from one canton to the next. so basically, just because you are qualified for Geneva, doesn't mean you are qualified to work in the canton of Vaud, for example.
so you have to stay put.

Keep in mind, to gain swiss nationality, you need to have spent 12 consecutive years in the country. If you are under 18, each year counts as 2.

hope that helped!
