Anyone know when the Luzern fireworks are on this year? It is my understanding that there is also no display on Swiss National day (excpect in Brunnen)...has anyone heard any different?
The 1st of August fireworks on the Lake Lucern (Vierwaldstättersee) are usually in Brunnen. But there are some tourist steam boats leaving from Lucerne to Brunnen to see the fireworks.
In Luzern they have fireworks at the Seenachtsfest, thats also in August. BUT 2007&2008 there is NO Seenachtsfest (they needed a break)

There are other big fireworks in Zurich and in Basel (in Basel its on the Rhine River on the 31st of August).
