1. depends on the situation and how many courses you've completed, but they will probably let you continue your year.

2.they offer a lot of language classes and a lot of art classes

3.not sure. my aprents always handled it

4.they ahve 3 national languages: swiss french, swiss german, and swiss italian. it depends on what aprt you'll be moving to for which language will be dominant. but most people speak all three languages and most people also speak english.

5.switzerland is beautiful.n the greenest country you'll ever see. the air is so clean. its nto very expensive to live there. the people are nice. healthcare is good. such great food there because they ahve such diversity or culture there. its one of the safest, if nto the safest country you'll ever go to.

turkey is also a really nice place. cesme and bodruma re some of the nicecst palces. the heart of istanbul is crowded but it has a lot of culture and history to it. the language is very easy to learn and the people are very friendly adn always willing to help.

You'd be better of living in Switzerland than Turkey because it's cleaner, safer, and nicer. Many Turkish people live in Switzerland though.

1. You probably won't be held back a year, it depends on how many credits you have and what classes you are taking.

2. Other classes they have are mostly language classes like French, Italian, German, English, it depends on what canton you live in. If your cantons first language is German, then it won't be offered as a foreign language.

3. Switzerland is very expensive like all the countries in Europe. It's expensive for everything like clothing, food, gas, restaurants and stores are fairly expensive also.

4. The languages spoken are German, French, Italian, and Romansch. Romansch is a native Swiss language, though a very small percentage of people speak it, and it's mainly spoken in the canton Graubunden, near Austria. The German spoken in Switzerland is Swiss German, and it's very hard, also very harsh sounding.

5. Switzerland is very beautiful, especially on the lakes like in Montreux and Geneva, also the smaller lakes in Zurich. The mountains are gorgeous, and if you're a skiier there are plenty of places to go. The Swiss love cheese, but that's not all they eat like many people think. They eat a lot of meat, and some areas eat game, such as deer and boar.

All of your answers depend on where exactly you are going in Switzerland.
There are 4 national languages there: German, French, Italian and Romanisch.
There is an International High School in Zurich were they speak English. If you went there they may not keep you back.
If you went into one of the regular high schools you would be held back so that you could take a language intensive class first before continuing on with your studies.
In high school there, besides the normal classes we have here, they also can start breaking you off into technical trade classes. (This of course depends on how well you do in school.)

Switzerland is beautiful. It is a very forward country in terms of culture, fashion and lifestyle. Think of the US on a smaller scale and more beautiful. The skiing is great. It is central Europe so it is easy to travel to many nearby countries.
The legal drinking age of beer is 16; alcohol, 18.
They are big into soccer and sport. There are plenty of things to do all year long. It only takes 3 hours by train to get from one end of the country to the other, so nothing is ever very far away.
And yes, it can be expensive to live there, but people are also paid more and treated generally better. Workers automatically get more vacation. Health care is more accessable. The general living lifestyle is a bit more relaxed, taken at a slower pace.

Turkey is also a beautiful country, but depending on what region you would end up in it can be very remote. If you want more info on Turkey, just ask!
