Need opinion on a budget travelling to switzerland?

I will be doing an extension to switzerland from rome on the 16th march to 21st march.

Any cheap way to travel to Geneva/Zurich either by train or flights?

Will probably stay at Davos for 2-3 days for skiing and sightseeing. The remaining days will probably travel to zurich and fly back home from there.

I tried searching around for the accommodation and traveling cost. All seems rather expensive.

Any cheap yet fun ski resort and accommodation for 2 person that is easily accessible? A double room with private washroom is preferred.

I'm thinking of camping for a night as well but find it hard to choose a site where all of this is nearby.

Any recommendation?

My Dad was born and raised Geneva, Switzerland, and my grandparents still live there, And Yes, its bloody expensive! But a Fantastic country.

Budget options really don't exist, particularly in Zurich. The cheapest option for entering is by train. Rome, Venice and Paris all have daily services. Flying is very expensive from anywhere, so unless you have a 400 hundred euros spare, don't bother.

All Swiss Ski Resorts are very expensive, and with you wanting a bathroom, nothing will come for under 120 euros per night.

Good Luck anyway, and enjoy the Fresh Air!
