Reaching Kleine Scheidegg?
Hi.
How to reach Kleine Scheidegg from Lauterbrunnen’s train station? pl let me know the mode & cost of transport.
thanks
Jai
from Lauterbrunnen, you need to switch trains (if you came up from Interlaken, you would have been on the Berner Oberlandbahn). the rest of the way up to Kleine Scheidegg is on the Wengernalpbahn. you'll go from Lauterbrunnen, pass Wengen just above the valley, then there are a couple of stops... but you can't miss the KS stop - because it's the final station of the train (everyone needs to get off). if you continue up to Jungfraujoch, there's another train, the Jungfraujochbahn, that goes from KS to the top station. the cost from Lauterbrunnen to KS is 50CHF for roundtrip. you can save 50% if you have a Half Fare Card, Swiss Card, etc. (Swiss Pass will cover this entire portion - but not from KS to Jungfraujoch).
