Swiss women are quite international like the small country itself. 4 Languages and different habits/customs by all means... You'll find any type! Certain swiss women might not be soo liberal by international standards but are the "man in the house",lol like the italian one's.Jokes beside: most younger women are business oriented and others just dream becoming a wife/mother - like anywhere else,OK?!

Swiss women only got the vote in the 1970's. Although supposedly equal to their male counterpart, they are subservient and passive to their men. Switzerland has the highest figures for violence against women in Europe. It is a strongly Calvinist country with a remarkable propaganda machine.

I lived in Switzerland for three years and was shocked at some aspects of the culture. Only now are women catching up with men in professionally. Keep in mind, women did not have the right to vote in this country until 1973!!!! Can you imagine that???? Some women fulfill very conservative homemaker roles while others are now going out and working and being recognized as professionals. IMHO, the culture resembles the USA in the 1970's during the women's movement.

My grandparents are swiss, and my mom was born there, so from what Ive seen from my grandparents...

Its expected that the woman will always be there, on command, to complete a task, ask a ques. etc.

This is what Ive seen at least.

why can't u do a project on african black or india, mexican an artic alaskan women .... !!!

bad news for you not all switzerland women are white
country open it door for millions of refugees / immigrants from all over the worlds that includes black, muslim, asian, brown, indian since 1950.

why don't you change your project title to "white women"

Swiss women are extremely stupid. I am embarrassed to call them women. No wonder they didn't get the right to vote until 1980s.

But they are nice and very humble.
