Hiking on the mountain was heavenly!
Train and ferry around the lake was indescribable.
Just a very very very very beautiful place.
Cows, houses on the mountain side, flowers, etc.....

I've been there; I have sat just a few hilltops away from the glorious Matterhorn and it was an experience I'll never forget. I can't wait to go back. :)

The snow is white.

it isn't that fascinating if you live there permanently.

it's something that you need to see to believe. there are lots of pretty places on earth, many that are described as beautiful, but the spectacle that is Switzerland is above and beyond anything else. and unlike some other countries, you're not stranded out in the boonies just for wanting to experience nature; their high standard of material goods and conveniences is accessible pretty much everywhere.

I'm not good with words. However, it the nicest country I seen yet. Beautiful mountains, lakes and rivers. Nice little cottages throughout the countryside. Excellent everything. You can't find a bad area in Switzerland - no ghettos, no neglicated areas. Truely the gem of the world.
