Has anyone ever heard of or been to the Tasis American School summer program in Lugano?
I'm thinking of going this summer but I want to hear other people's opinions on it first.

Travelling to Switzerland?
I am in Madrid at the moment and I have a valid Schengen VISA. Can I travel to Zurich? Do I need any other VISA for this?
Since December 12, 2008, Switzerland has been part of the Schengen-Dublin zone for the free movement of people.
This means that the Schengen Visa is acceptable for travel to Switzerland.
Hope this helped,

Switzerland entered in Schengen states on 12th December, 2008. Now anybody having valid schengen visa can travel to Switzerland without restricition.

It depends on the type of visa you hold. A Schengen type C tourist or business visa issued by Spain valid for "Estados Schengen" will also grant entry to the other Schengen states to include Switzerland. If you should however hold a short-term type D national visa valid for "España" you may not use that but have to apply for another visa or must wait until you get your "Tarjeta de Estudiante" or "Permiso de Residencia Inicial" which would serve as a visa-waiver for up to 90 days.
Yes you can travel to Zurich and to any other area in Switzerland with a Schengen Visa.

I think you must travel by land (train, bus, car, etc) right now. The schengen agreement that switzerland signed into law does not apply to air travel until end of March 2009.
