Trip to switzerland for young singles?

We are thinking of visiting Zurich and lugano in switzerland and como in Italy, and we need some advices about what can we do there. Also how long do you recommened to stay in each of them. Are lugano and como lively at night? Thanx

In all of those places the primary thing to do is sight see. Zurich is big enough to have a few good museums. The others are probably too small to have much other than the general sights around town and in the surrounding countryside.

As for night life, Lugano and Como probably have some, catering to tourists, but those places are also probably under 100,000 people so there won't be much. Zurich has some clubs, but they are mostly DJ dance music as opposed to live bands.

If you can schedule your trip around local arts, music, or historical festivals, then you might find some more to do.
