Most of the years in Switzerland, the end of october is usually just cold with light snow and rain. Every season is nice in Switzerland, especially in late spring and early summer. If you like a lot of snow, then you should go between end of december-february If you want light snow, go between nov - end of dec. It is always nice because the air is always fresh. |

Well, if you are concerned about the weather, I went in late September of 2007, and the weather was great. It was short sleeve weather for us, and I am the type that gets cold easily. It was bright and sunny. I do not know if there is a dramatic change in late October, but, it was a nice trip for us. I would not suggest using the Internet weather, I made that mistake last year because we landed in Germany, I was prepared for temps high of 67, it was 80 plus. I had to purchase some T-shirts to compensate. Again, if weather is your concern, I would call the hotel reception a few days before departing and asked what is the weather like now, usually this time of year, and for the past few days. This way, you would get an overall view. Hope you and yours have a great trip. |
