zurich- there are a few nice museums- and some unique ones like a watch/clock museum that is in the basement of some fancy store. Boat ride is really nice, walking around the old city and the shopping areas. Also it is only an hour train ride from luzern and totally worth it. If you go to luzern take the guided walking tour from the tourism office right outside the train station. I saw someone answered bars- I found the drinking/partying scene there pretty lame. they have some crazy law that you can't play loud music after 11 pm (on weekends!!!!) and you can't drink outside after midnight so that kinda closed the scene down early. anyways have fun- and don't forget that the trains are never late!!

St.Gallen is a pretty little town, go through the old town. Zurich is an international cosmopolitan city, with the famous Bahnhof strasse with all the expensive stores. Zurich has a lovely lake go for a walk, have a tour with a boat. St. Gallen is not far from the Bodensee a huge lake, has so many things to see, on south there is Konstance (city) and Mainau the huge garden with flowers all year around. on the northern part are some old towns like Lindau etc. There is really a lot to do depending how long you plan to travel and when.
