Switzerland has some really goofy holidays. On the third Monday in April in Zurich we celebrate Sechselauten--we get ONLY the afternoon off to go to town for a parade and the burning of the Boogg. He's a giant snowman--full of firecrackers--and the idea is if he burns up quickly the winter will stay away, but if he burns up slowly, the winter will be long. (It seems to be accurate!) The holiday CELEBRATES the fact that longer daylight hours mean more time for work! (Sechselauten means six o'clock bells, ie the "get off work" bells ring at six instead of five.)
Anyway I for one can't wait!

Some people seem to think skiing is fun too.
Are you Canadian? I am.

buy me chocolate !!! or your self if you are mean

Worry?
Take the train to Zermatt and see the Matterhorn.
Take the train to Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe

I have done both and they are definitely once in a life time experiences.

Pet a Saint Bernard dog;
Use the train system to travel. It's extremely punctual and clean;
Play golf;
Go where there aren't tourists;
Buy stuff from local supermarket (ex: cheese, chocolate and bread);
Be courteous to everyone because they will be courteous to you.
