Les quatres Vallées huh? it is really a lovely area! It is the name given formally to the skiable domain around Verbier, including Verbier, Nendaz, Veysonnaz, Thyon et La Tzoumaz.
Verbier itself is in the Val de Bagne, but I believe that the name doesn't reflect actual 4 valleys.

Hi there,

You may not be aware of this, but Switzerland is a very mountainous country. Over half of Switzerland is dominated by mountains and thus there are hundreds and hundreds of valleys!

However it is possible you may have been confused with the term "Vierwaldstätter" (Four Forest Cantons). If this is what you are looking for, then these cantons are:

*Lucerne (Luzern)
*Schwyz
*Uri
*Unterwalden (since the lakes' naming, this canton has broken up into Obwalden and Nidwalden).

Hope that this is what you are looking for!
