i was living there 3 years ago in a 90m flat 15 min from Zurich but close to the airport, so the area was not noble but the flat was very nice and renovated, i paid CHF 2,300 including the nebenkosten *side costs in German, which includes the heater oil...
the rest will depend how often you go to restaurants, nightclubs, cinema, traveling... and the level of the places you like.

Cost of living are rather high in Zürich ! (9th in a global ranking) However, the salaries are also better and, as already mentioned, you will earn the best money in a bank or insurance. Swiss people do not like to talk about their wages so I can not help you with your second point.
