Hi,
Switzerland is a small country...I m not sure how many days you have there, but try to hop around (dont only stay in Geneva)
Besides Montreoux and Zermatt that are indeed fabulous places, you can go to Lugano, Luzern, Zurich, Jungfraujoch, Bern, Basel.
You will surely see the Mont Blanc from Geneva lake. And besides enjoying Swiss choc, dont you miss its dairy products like cheese and yogurt. Must also taste Swiss wine, try cheese fondue and other authentic Swiss traditional food, visit chateoux, s skiing, walk in the old towns.

Enjoy Switzerland!!!

I would add to what Hans wrote to take a trip to the French
side and visit Chamonix

quite amazing, also you can, if you rent a car or take a train, go about 80 kms. into France and visit Aix-Les-Bains

Not much to do in Geneve itself, a tour of the city for one day is more than enough.

Its a beautiful city to walk around in but its pretty small. There are a lot of little cafes on the shore of the lake and its all public so there isn't any where you can't go. If you want to have a nice excursion one day you can take the train to Montreux or to Zermatt (swiss trains are amazing, but expensive, try to make sure you get on one of the double decker ones and ride in the restaurant wagon, a coffee is the same price as in any coffee shop). Zermatt is a really beautiful ski town about 2 or 3 hours by train from Geneva and you get a great view of the Matterhorn (one of the most famous and picturesque mountains in the world)
Montreux is famous for its annual jazz festivals and its rich and famous lifestyle. A lot of celebrities from all over the world go live there because its so beatiful and relaxing.
