The Swiss make fun of people from canton Bern the same way American make fun of rednecks.

I haven't quite figured it out but from my experience - The Older Generation does not have much of sense of humor. It also varies from region to region. The German side of Switzerland appears to be the most rigid while you can imagine the Swiss-Italian are a better audience. I don't know much about the Swiss-French - but I sincerely doubt they can be as rigid as the Swiss-German.

Beyond the region you will also have to look at the age of the demographic. The older generation on the German Side are far more boring than the younger people. I once got reprimanded by my husband's Grandfather for "Smiling too much" in a picture (Grumpy old man) while all his grandchildren defended me and were upset with him. However, the people from the Italian side of Switzerland were much more friendly.

If you have to attempt this - I would go with Slapstick Comedy. Think Mr. Bean and Absolutely Fabulous. Any Physical Comedy would probably get a grin from your toughest audience.

?
I'll bet they have a lot of cheese jokes.

how could we find anything funny, we only eat cheese with holes and have stomachaches from that..
hehe

Absolutely bog all. I lived there for 2 years and found them to be the most humourless people I have ever met. I'm Irish and I found it very difficult not to laugh at their seriousness.

Tourists with fat wallets!!!!!!!!! They laugh all the way to the bank

Nothing. Only three Swiss people have any sense of humour at all. It can get depressing here.
