I tried to look for a weather graph of Switzerland but I could not find one that would give me the expected temperature, particularly for Fribourg, Bern & Geneva from Oct. 25 to Nov. 1 in celcius, including the highs and lows for that period. Should 1 bring thick jackets or just sweatshirts?

Sorry to say so, but you wan't find such a thing. Forcasts can be done for three to four days, everything that is beyond that wouldn't be serious. Still, to give you an idea how the weather has been last year (in order to compare, in order to plan), please check this site: http://www.meteoschweiz.admin.ch/web/en/weather/weather_review.html
As a rule of thumb, in November, bring at least a warm jacket and/or windbreaker, a real warm cardigan would also do. The more, the better. End of October, beginning of November is already winter in Switzerland, it could be snowing by then!
