What is there to do in Switzerland?
I'm planning a trip to a french speaking country. Help.
There are beautiful mountains (e.g. Matterhorn,...) where you can go hiking, climbing or skiing. Also many lakes (lake Constance is very beautiful), famous cities like Geneva and Zurich.
You could also visit one of the famous chocolate manufacturers, for example Lindt & SprĂĽengli http://www.lindt.com

Go to someones house and watch the pappy make swiss watches in the basement. mama making the cheese in the barn and the kinder cooking up a secret swiss chokki recipe. look at he man on the hill yodel. hear the cows say MOO over that is my grass. look for william Tell. Sit by the river and watch the fish swim bye. watch the glacier melt into the river. Go to the Bahnhof Strasse in Zurich and watch the millionaires spend thier money. go to Interlaken and watch Rene cook in the Anker Restraunt ( he will let you ), while he watches american sports on the little TV. and millions of other things to do.

There is lot to do in Switzerland. Go to the Interlaken or Luzern - from this town you can go to the glaciar.
Some of the town have watersoprts or you can go the river cruise through the mountains.

Why don't you go to France? Why switzerland?
If you are going to Switzerland you should visit Geneve (capital of the "french" switzerland), and the Alps.
But in France there is much more to visit, you might need few days to see everything in Paris(Louvre, Versailles, Eiffel Tower), the Loire (region in central France famouse for it castles) and you might make on time in the South for the Cannes festival (movie festival).....
